Abstract
La presente tesis abarca el proceso de desarrollo e implementación de un sistema web que tuvo como objetivo determinar si el Sistema de Seguimiento al Desempeño del Estudiante SISEDE mejora el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Cañete, esto surgió por la necesidad de contar con un sistema web para tutoría dentro de la universidad que brinde apoyo y ayude a los estudiantes. Siendo su problema general ¿En qué medida el Sistema web de tutoría SISEDE mejora el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Cañete, 2023?, Para tal propósito se aplicó la metodología XP para el desarrollo del sistema web, debido a que nos permite estar en constante comunicación con los interesados del proyecto y poder así validar constantemente los avances del sistema para evitar errores en las funcionalidades de la misma, como lenguaje de programación se usó PHP y Java Script, como motor de base de datos MySQL, esto con el fin de obtener un producto final que cumpla con los estándares de calidad de la Universidad. La presente investigación es de tipo aplicada,
con diseño de investigación preexperimental y con enfoque cuantitativo. La técnica de recolección de datos fue fichas de registros que fueron previamente validado por juicio
de experto. En cuanto a los resultados después de realizar el pre-test y post-test se menciona que se mejoró en el índice de asistencia a las sesiones pasando de un 78.24% a
un 99.60%, obteniendo un incremento del 21.36 % en este indicador, en el promedio general de calificaciones se obtuvo en el pre-test un 68.7% a un 86.9%, obteniendo una
mejora de 18.2% en este segundo indicador, con respecto al último indicador que es el
porcentaje de derivaciones a las áreas de apoyo se pasó de un 52.8% a un 78.3%, obteniendo un incremento del 25.5%. Se concluye que la implementación de un sistema
web para las tutorías universitarias mejoraría significativamente el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Cañete 2023.
This thesis covers the process of development and implementation of a web system that aimed to determine if the SISEDE Student Performance Monitoring System improves the academic performance of students at the National University of Cañete, this arose from the need to count with a web system for tutoring within the university that provides support and helps students. The data collection technique was record sheets that were previously validated by expert judgment. Regarding the results after carrying out the pre-test and post-test, it is mentioned that the rate of attendance at the sessions improved, going from 78.24% to 99.60%, obtaining an increase of 21.36% in this indicator, in The overall grade average was obtained in the pre-test from 68.7% to 86.9%, obtaining an improvement of 18.2% in this second indicator, with respect to the last indicator, which is the percentage of referrals to support areas, it went from from 52.8% to 78.3%, obtaining an increase of 25.5%.
